He has also served in many areas of ministry at First Assembly of God in Winston-Salem. He served in the area of teaching many Christian Education classes, taught Evangelism classes and held weekly visitation teams. Pastor Mark has also served as an Evangelist in the NC district. He has also served as an Interim-Pastor on three occasions while churches were in transition of seeking for a Senior Pastor for a period of almost three years. In January of 2005, he and his wife of 24 years Lori, and their daughter Brooke who is now 19 years old and attending her sophomore year at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, accepted the Senior Pastor position at Life Community Church.

We have never looked back, but with great expectation look forward through the eyes of faith as to what the Lord has already done and for what he will continue to do in the days ahead.

My strengths are found in my ability to assess needs and develop solutions to problems. I get along well with and love all people. I am concerned about people receiving proper instruction and direction from the Word of God, therefore, I spend quality time in preparation for teaching and preaching. I believe the Lord has spent several years developing my strengths and teaching me the importance of the calling of pastoral ministry. The Lord’s return is very near, and it is time we are about the Father’s business of bringing people into the Kingdom of God and helping them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I personally invite you to visit our church if you do not have a church home. I believe you will be blessed by attending our church.

May God bless you as you continue to serve him.
